It’s that time! We celebrate our nation’s independance, watch a few fireworks, and eat a few hot dogs. In Las Vegas, we do all that while cooking ourselves in the heat and dodging kids setting off fireworks in the street. Many people also head to the hills to watch the spectacular fireworks displays all around the valley. It’s actually one of the perks of living in Las Vegas.
That also means that if there’s a crowd gathered anywhere to watch the show, there is some (or many) idiots watching through the tiny screen of their phone and blocking the view of those standing behind them. Why would you live in the moment when you can relive it with a low-quality video on a tiny screen?!
Because this is America and in America we have the freedom to be idiots as much as we want! It’s what our forefathers fought and died for after all.
